As the holiday season approaches, Telema eFlow team is delighted to present three new features, designed to improve your user experience. Consider these updates our festive gift, aimed at bringing greater efficiency and joy to your financial operations.

1. Mandatory Dimensions for Invoices

To ensure comprehensive data capture, you can now designate specific dimensions as mandatory for invoices. This means an invoice can only be transmitted to your ERP system with specified mandatory dimensions, promoting data consistency and reducing errors.

If a mandatory dimension is missing, a warning message is displayed. If an approver in the workflow is unaware of the cost dimension, they can still approve without filling it in. This does not apply to the final approver – an invoice cannot be forwarded to the ERP without a mandatory dimension.

Note that at the current stage, mandatory cost dimensions are universal, applying to all invoices, and are not customizable per each account in your chart of accounts.

2. Customizable Cost Dimension Sorting

Enhance your data analysis by sorting cost dimensions according to their importance. This customization allows quicker access to critical information, facilitating more informed decision-making. You can sort dimensions into the correct business order simply by dragging and dropping them in your master data section. Later on, you can see on the invoice coding row that the cost dimensions are arranged in the same order of importance as you set them.

3. Accounting Period Closed Date

Maintain the integrity of your financial periods by setting a closed date for accounting periods. Once a period is closed, invoices can no longer be posted there, safeguarding your financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
