November 10th marks International Accounting Day – a day to recognize the professionals who keep the financial rhythm of companies steady and sound. Accountants are the ones who ensure that every number tells a true story.
Where it all began
The celebration dates back to November 10, 1494, when Italian friar Luca Pacioli published his famous work “Summa de arithmetica, geometria, proportioni et proportionalità.” His methods laid the foundation for modern double-entry bookkeeping – a system still vital today. Pacioli is known as the “Father of Accounting.”
Why accountants are indispensable
Accountants are more than number crunchers – they are strategic partners who guide decision-making, identify risks, and plan for the future. At Telema, we believe that smart collaboration with accountants brings clarity and confidence.
How to celebrate
Take a moment today to recognize the accountants around you — your colleagues, partners, or yourself if you’re part of this vital profession. A word of thanks, a small gesture, or a shared coffee break can mean a lot.
From all of us at the Telema — thank you to every accountant out there. Your attention to detail keeps the world of business running smoothly, your wisdom sparks improvement every day, and your dedication brings reliability and peace of mind to so many. We’re deeply grateful for you.
Happy International Accounting Day!
